I couldnt help myself :)  the nerd/accountant that I am had to have something to count during all that driving.  So here it is: exactly what Melissa & I got up to in 4 weeks!

Nights camping: 7 (including 1 night in a teepee & 1 night sleeping in the car cos my back couldnt take camping on stone anymore :))

Highest temperature: 120F/49C, Death Valley, California

Lowest point: -190ft below sea level, Furnace Creek, Death Valley, California

Highest point: 9,900+ ft above sea level, Tioga Pass, California

Number of trees driven through: 1, Pacific Coast Highway, Oregon

Number of states driven through: 21 (Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky!  Tennessee & Georgia again to complete the loop)
